How about taking a trip in a luxurious yate with crystal bottom? A trip in this cruise costs around $5 dollars per person and will give you a lonnnng glimpse on the Acapulco Bay. You don't have to worry about wearing the life-savers: you can always sit on them and easily forget about them. This is another thrilling experience full of adrenaline; and if you are not afraid of sinking ships you will enjoy lots! It really worths the trip (if only they could go a bit faster... but they can't because the glass of the bottom can break...) Not a yate and not crystal.. but almost ;)

Flat Beetle! This car, widely known in Mexico City as Vocho is the usual view on town. Dare to travel in one if you have all your internal organs in place and you are not cardiac. I did it quit a lot and... well... my stomach has moved a little bit to the right because of that! ;) I know it is not the best pic of a Vocho, but that's the one I like the most because of the flat tire! :)

I remember the day I went to an office in a building in Bosques in Mexico City: I should go to the 9th floor. So, I waited for the elevator, jump inside, then the elevator closed its door and... to my surprise it started going down!! Later I learned that the main entrance is actually the 15th floor... That sounds like Alice in Wonderland!

Profesionalismo y diversidad.

Well, ok, not the best photo according to composition, and sharpness, I agree... But I cannot help liking this just because of the fact of the enormous smile I had when I went back to Mexico: going back to the Vochos, the cables in the street, the smell of gasoline, the mess, the screams selling tacos... I was truly thrilled... It worth every second spent there...

The land below the smog : Bienvenido a la Ciudad de Mexico. This is the photograph that marked "Mi Regreso Triunfal" to Mexico City: after being denied boarding from Mexicana de Aviacion, I had to directly obtain an express visa from the Consul de Mexico - who repeatedly said Colombians residents in the US don't need a visa... but immigration in Mexico said we do... In the end, with all my documents ready, I was once again flying back to my 'dear' Mexico in search for love. The photos that will follow this pic will proof my entrance to the Distrito Federal and more. :)

Nothing else fills my heart like spending the wonderful moments I spend with the one I love. I am here and you are there... Always water between us. How symbolic this is. I watch you like the little kid that doesn't want to give away her favorite toy, I let you go with the deepest hope you will come back... to me.

You're Adventures of Huckleberry Finn!

by Mark Twain

With an affinity for floating down the river, you see things in black
and white. The world is strange and new to you and the more you learn about it, the less
it makes sense. You probably speak with an accent and others have a hard time
understanding you and an even harder time taking you seriously. Nevertheless, your
adventurous spirit is admirable. You really like straw hats.

voy por la vereda tropical......

o mejor aun! Voyy..... por la tormenta tropical...

Francis is about to touch my 'home town' in Florida: Fort Lauderdale.. While here in Tallahassee I am going to the supermarket to get water, batteries (which I couldn't found!), and movies at Blockbuster!! Getting ready for it, though the meteorologist from FSU afirm that the hurricane will be a Tropical Storm when it reaches my door... I cross fingers...

And in the meantime we have little evil Ivan taking shape of a tropical storm on the East Atlantic slowly moving West...
New York City Subway!!! YESS!!! Don't believe it? Didn't we! Together with Felisa we had about 10 seats for eachone! Hard to decide. Where were we going? I forgot :D But certainly nobody else was going OUR way! hehehe.. It even looks clean and all! :)

Well, I just heard of someone who does visit my blog constantly but for an unknown reason doesn't fancy leaving a comment. The purpose is visiting and I am absolutely happy to hear you do visit, and more happy to hear that you like my photographs! hurray! This picture was in New Jersey. I used to see it everyday on my way back "home" for the 5 days I visited there. One night, the light was so atracting that I just couldn't resist it. The reflection on the mirror, the way it lights everything around. It's marvelous!
