Galveston, TX

C was driving to Galveston and we were quite there when I saw this photo opportunity. She was curious enough to stop, return and drive back to this place. I think it was worth it :D

Arriba y Abajo

I'm waiting for you

The very first days that Easton joined us, she sat for hours waiting for my boyfriend to come back from work. She would sit still like this for at least 30 minutes, change position but not move from the door... Now she couldn't care less...

Esa me dolió!

Tomas

Recently I read on the news that a Rhodesian Ridgeback is feeding a puma... Well, here is a Rhodesian Ridgeback that is about to feed himself.

When I took this picture I thought it was going to be so bad. Now I look at it and I think it is one of the greatest. Ladies and gentlemen, my mom and my dad :)

Carwash

When I went to Houston earlier this year, my good friend C lend me her car (which wasn't so clean to begin with ;) ). On my last day of visit, and a couple of hours before picking her up from work I went into an express carwash (!) and surprised her. We found out that her car was actually black (jkg!). I had my camera and I took many photographs.
Abstract begins in reality!

I took this photo on my way to Chicago. Windows always find a way to mark their presence, here the grease of someone else's head left a mark that contrasted with the dark of the ground. I love the path of rivers, there is a sense of freedom in the way they choose to be.

ABD

When I announced to my friends my candidacy on my doctorate path, everyone congratulated me for my ABD status... Wanting to keep my confidence-look I later asked one of my most reserved friends what "ABD" meant.

"All But Dissertation" - but of course! But to me, ABD goes for "ALL BUT DONE"!

Anyways, I took a moment from editing some photos that I intend to post here SOON, to write about it! How much of a researcher thing to do! lol. To write about what I am going to do before I actually do it. (sorry, perhaps I am writing to myself now.) Life has brought me many sweet other things that have kept me away from taking photographs, and so, I am selling my complicated and quite good camera, to get a more portable one so that I am able to share my views of the world with you more instantly.

In a nutshell, Life has taken care of keep my happy and busy enough to live a fulfilled and plentyfull one. I just need to find a simpler system to keep the sharing. But regardless, I love the feeling of being All But Done with this existence. So much to do, so much to see... Amazing...

Love,

Me :)
