Big Oak
The few times I went to Thomasville I stopped by the Big Oak. I wasn't certain of the appeal of the city, so the only place for me to visit was that one, and a couple of funky stores (whenever I was lucky to find them open).

Start your engines!
Arriving at Tallahassee from Houston. These pictures are really blurry and plain bad, but that night my life would change. :)

NOLA
Flying back to Tallahassee from Houston I saw New Orleans from the plane. Very blurry picture indeed but clear memory. I was sooo happy to see it.

Parade Marshal
Note that if you own a cowboy hat you can protect it with the protective plastic with the cowboy-hat-shape....

Downtown
This is downtown Galveston. I love the common mix of new and old architecture in downtowns all over. Two pics in one post!

Getting there...
This picture is arriving in Tallahassee, most likely from Houston. You can see the city at the top left corner... very very little...

The comeback
The past six months have been a continuous lesson in life, that prevented me from posting my photos like I wanted to. I have taken pictures in the meantime where I have register these changes. These past months I have moved to another city and changed direction on my dissertation. The changed that affected me the most is that I lost two people that I loved dearly. One of them was my grandmother, who was more than a best friend from me. I miss her SO MUCH, and I think about her all the time. I feel that doesn't matter how many times I told her that I loved her, she always knew... There are things that don't need to be said.
And in the midst of these "turning points in life" changes, I keep taking pictures. Until I catch up with my life in pictures as of today, I will keep posting the edited photos that I've got. This picture was taken in Jacksonville for our trip to New York City in October, 2007.
This comeback to my photoblog is in the loving memory of my beloved grandma Li.
